Privacy laws and their official interpretations continue to evolve. The Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) of 1999 places restrictions on the gathering of financial information. With a few rare exceptions, GLBA outlaws obtaining financial information by means of "pretext" or deception.

Stratigent Inc. is a legally defined business in the public interest. Therefore, all of the asset searches conducted either by or for Stratigent Inc. must be for a documented bonafide purpose : Court filing, required attorney letter of response, power of attorney, in association with court directed discovery process or other legally documented justification.

Any financial asset information obtained by Stratigent Inc. or our agents, is certified in writing to have been obtained "without pretext or deception and is in conformity with the letter and intent of the law".

Stratigent Inc. will not release account numbers except in the course of a Court mandated monetary Judgment; divorce and/or child custody/protection proceeding; or, with bonafide power of attorney.
